MOVIE REVIEW "THE CROSS ROAD"

We are from ELEVEN LANGUAGE want to do a review of our movie 
“THE CROSS ROAD”. This movie is made by the passion,tears, sweat of ELEVEN LANGUAGE.

The movie is about Monica, a quite girl who don’t have any experience about love falling in love with Kevin Liem, a man who only interested with Mr.Thomas’ family money. Things hasn’t gone well in their relationship because of Monica father,  Mr.Thomas didn’t permit their relationship because he know what is the true intention of Kevin. While they are in a situation where they can’t be together, Monica fought with all of her spirit to change her father opinion about their relationship. Being sad and plunged into a despair she keep believing in her ideal ending, which is she and Kevin can be together without anyone against them. But what’s about Kevin, who only interested in her money? And what kind of conspiracy that Kevin and Monica aunt, Stephanie have? Watch it on our movie, “THE CROSS ROAD”!

The cast of THE CROSS ROAD is come from ELEVEN LANGUAGE CLASS student. Maria Monica Yoshinayang as Primary protagonist: Monica, Kevin Pradhana as Primary antagonist: Kevin Liem, Thomas Elvano as Monica’s father, Mr. Thomas who is against their relationship, Stephanie Ivo as Stephanie, Thomas sister who support Kevin and Monica relationship with her all, Anatasia Asti Jayanti as Tasya Liem, Kevin sister who is really kind and generous to his brother and do her best to make Kevin happy, Ratya Anindhita as Ratya, Monica’s niece who introduce Kevin to her. This 6 people put a lot of action and effort to learn about their character attitude, voice, appearance and also their habit.

This movie is adaptated from Henry James book: “WASHINGTON SQUARE” with a change of several element such as time,places and Character name from its original book. The movie is made to be adaptated with Indonesia culture and lifestyle which make this movie become more interesting because of the difference of United States culture at early 1843 with the present Indonesia culture. This movie feature the situation of a conflict between father and daughter, and a tragic love story between the unconditional one with the conditional one and also the effort of innocent girl who doesn’t understand about love doing her best to fight the condition that was given to her.

This movie will be premier on June 2013.Watch it and it won’t as boring as you think before, try to watch it and feel the feeling of innocent girl resist against the tragic fate that is given upon her with all of her best. How will their relationship turned out to be? Can they become together? Can Monica ideal ending turned out to be reality? Can Mr.Thomas change his opinion about their relationship?
